Merissa Pico, 17, is a three-time member of the USAT Junior National Team and is coming off a gold-medal performance at the Junior Pan Am Championships in Las Vegas in October. She also has a bronze medal from the 2008 World Junior Championships in her trophy case. Merissa trains under Master Alvin Bernard at Team USA Taekwondo in Fort Lee, N.J.

TJ Curry, 24, will represent the United States at the Pan American Games in the light/welter division next month in Guadalajara, Mexico. A 2010 U.S. national champion in the lightweight division, he trains at the World Taekwondo Center in California under Brian Singer.
